SPORT EQUITY POLICY
This project is an analysis of all (143) publicly available online National Canadian Sport policies which are related to equity, diversity and/or inclusion. From this analysis, we demonstrate how policies that are meant to support inclusion actually serve to reproduce and naturalize exclusionary practices within a variety of sporting environments. We then outline some ways we might begin to develop more transformative, equitable policies.
