COLLECTIVE COMMITMENTS

A photograph of post-it notes stuck on white paper. Each post-it note has a desired commitment written on it. For example,
As a collective, we offer imaginative, intersectional, and justice-oriented solutions through the enactment of nine core commitments:
  1. A commitment to deep intersectional engagement.
  2. A commitment to disruptive abolitionist politics and restorative practices.
  3. A commitment to difficult and transformative conversations.
  4. A commitment to mind/body/spirit flourishing.
  5. A commitment to deeply engage with folks who are most impacted by the harms we are addressing.
  6. A commitment to recognize the generative and ingenious epistemologies, theories, and practices that impacted communities have already developed.
  7. A commitment to a relational integrity that allows for mutual receptivity, fosters collective growth, and ensures everyone is held in dignity.
  8. A commitment to ensuring our methods and practices align with our politics and these commitments.
  9. A commitment to effective and useful interventions.
